A small problem with this new-fangled electronic calculating engine (the hard drive failed) had the end result of having to use the "lost password" option with the Brassgoggles forum.

Although the widget box said "six or more characters", the system refused to accept anything with less than eight characters. Perhaps the system overlords would care to take a look at this (please).

So it does let you change a password, it just has to be longer than 8 characters? Curious!

Chalk that one up to another 'quirk' of the SMF forum software - somebody obviously tweaked the security requirements, but didn't test completely...  Undecided

Another one for Proteus to take a look at, will pass it on.  Smiley

Nicely spotted bug, it's actually an error in the forum software; they updated the requirements for "medium", but not the language set. I fixed it (at least in English), thank you!
