Dear Harold,
I was waiting for Ben to receive his package from you before posting anything more in the game thread. Should the "guest" and crew wait until Ben posts again?

I think you could easily jump in, now, that we have a ruckus happening... Cheers Harold

To All,
I will probably be splitting my posts into smallish segments, as my computer tends to have trouble posting longer ones and I'd rather not re-write over and over.

I have had a few of my posts that needed retyping due to browser hiccups.. I tend to copy/paste the text to a plain text file every few lines, as I am posting, just in case...

Dear Harold,
I'm not very computer literate, but what seemed to work today was sending a short post, then adding to it with the modify feature. I saved every few lines of the modify.

That also seems to work for me. The real problem I have is that a very long post, depending on the day,can be physically painful. It all depends on how the arthritis is acting up on any given day. Most (well, every day) its the lower back and hips that are an issue, there is generally a constant low level of ache or discomfort, due to the bone damage that has accumulated. The hands are usually ok, but every once in a while, they can be a nuisance. Today was quite a good day..
Cheers Harold

My sympathy to both of you. I fear that I'm heading the same way... my family is prone to arthritis and my neck aches most of the time anyway. Sorry for taking so long to post, we'll have to assume that Lemont saw me read it and went away and that I was only going over it later. I wrote in the shouting as being between the ruffians at first, if that's OK, to give everyone time to untangle themselves before the Ministry arrive, as no doubt they will. Hmm... can't decide whether I should go a bit evil or whether to be in it just because of the money and the position Hiram has be in... Anyway, hopefully my posts should be prompt from now on. Ben

I've never done this type of role-playing game. Timing the action is very interesting. I'm still not sure when to advance the action a little bit; but I'm having fun with the game, very interesting set-up.
As far as my character goes, this will be an interesting learning curve for Lilli. She is far more adept in the stealthier arts than anything else.

I'm keeping Lilli out of the way a bit while the repairs and Lamont's interrogation are going on. I'm using the time to flashback for a bit of backstory.

It's my first P+P RP, so it's all a bit bewildering, but jolly good fun. Helps me to practise my writing as well, which can only be good. I'm waiting around until the works are fully finished.

Just introduced my character in the game thread, and; like i said in the character guide, he's a vampire, so he's got to shelter from the sun...and he chooses to do it in a most inconvenient place....

Yes,, but unfortunately, FU is in China...(that's where my posting put him after his meeting with the Colonel).. However, it is quite possible that he owns the house, and it is currently home to his local "right hand frienly local neighbourhood Tong".. Fu Manchu would not stay in London, as in the canon, his every move would be dogged by Commissioner Sir Denis Nayland Smith and Dr. Petrie. The occasional short visit might work, but FU would be very hard put to be in London for any time.. Cheers Harold

I've tried to move things along a bit in my most recent post, while leaving lots of room for other actions to take place within the time period. (That's why I'm being vague about timing). I, too, would like to get off the ground.
Lilli's backstory: Lilli has 2 legitimate half-brothers. The older, Josef, is 35, married, and very stuffy. Michael, the younger, is 28 and enjoys his 1/2 sisters company. Neither is aware of Lilli's more unusual talents and activities. In addition to garroting, she has learned lockpicking and escapology from a rather raffish French gentleman who vanished in mysterious circumstances about 8 months ago.

Sorry for my absence, my æthernet connection is a fickle thing to say the least and it has a tendency to drop dead every now and then. Anyway, I'm back, hopefully for the forseeable future, and we are finally on our way. It's three days since the message from Hiram arrived, by my imaginary watch

As my last posts have indicated, Lilli's morals are rather flexible. If Ben calls her on her actions, she will assure him that he will be paid back. She will do that, she just figures that she's "borrowed" a bit from whoever put her on the Boheme. You may also have noticed that she has a bit of a ditzy fashionista side to her character.

But of course She is turning out to be quite a fascinating character. The matter of the money may come up at some point, we'll see. It's nice to have someone more morally flexible, as you out it.
