I'm wondering when would be a good point for Patrick to regain conciousness. Or perhaps a side-subject done wherin it is set in Patrick's dreams...

I don't think you have to worry about waking Patrick up now. I thought it would be interesting to see how Emma would turn the events of the day into a dream.

I've just this evening completed the first part of my story line. I intend now, if I may, to take a break for a few weeks to consider where next to take it, how to develop my character and how to develop my writing et al.
I'm very conscious right now of the fact that the only character n my story line is my own, and therefore runs the risk of being not so much a role-playing entity but more a "create-your-own-adventure" style piece. If anyone wishes to create a character (perhaps Benjamin, or the butler, or someone my character can bump into...) to influence my own story line, or jump into it themselves that is fine.

It gets worse I've been getting more and more inactive, mostly because of exams and problems getting access to BG. Exams are now over, but the access problems remain. I love the RPG, and I've had great fun, but I'm having trouble making an appropriate effort with it. I don't intend to drop out or anything, just to warn you that my presence around here is likely to remain fairly infrequent. When I can, I'll drop in and make a post, perhaps weekly or something like that. In the meantime, please feel free to run my persona. I expect you know him well enough by now. I'm sorry about this, but I'll put in as much time as I can. Ben

I will keep things going until we reach the next port if I need to. I apologize in advance if I have to double post every now and then. I am far too addicted to let the story stop now. I may have a picture of Emma to post soon I traded some alterations for art and it looks amazing so far. I hope I can talk her in to doing one of George too.

A snarky jealous George is happy to oblige. It looks like Trip will have some obstacles in his pursuit of Emma.

G'day all. I'm planning to join up, but never having played a game like this before I wanted to know if it was usual to read the story up to this point, or to step in without reading it as a real new arrival in London would.
Also got a few place names in the bio I've written, The Independent Republic of Southern Texas being the most prominent, and I wanted to ask before I created a place in the world. Nothing should feature into the story except as backround for my character, but I wanted to see if that was ok.
Thanks

I just got the picture my friend swapped for some of my sewing skills and I love it to pieces. It is making me far more giddy than a piece of paper aught to. Emma in the lab By Toby It is so getting a nice frame and I am going to try and talk her in to doing George as well. Madboy Soli I think there are three active story lines going on right now. The Boheme's trip to china, Nathanial and Charles' chase after Trip, and James Harrison's very interesting Egyptian artifacts. You could start a new one or join an old one either would work fine.

It's a sub-board of the Textual board, that's all. Adults are still welcome here
