Just viewed "Master of the World"(1961) on YouTube.com  .
Without giving too much away, imagine "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" but with an Airship instead of a Submarine.  This would be an excellent movie to be re-made with today's technologies.
Mr.  Robur said the Airship was made of paper.  I don't know about that, but the sets and props sure looked like they were made of paper!  Wink
Too bad it couldn't be re-made with Vincent Price.

Stan

P.S. -  The line I expected to hear, "Mr. Prudent, you must get inside...It's not Prudent to stay outside!"

I had the Dell Comics adaptation of the film in my store stock once; a comic book about Vincent Price and Charles Bronson in a steampunk setting. As I recall we got decent money for it, but I miss having the comic.

An hour into the film, approximately 1:00:40, there is a model shot of London, with what appears to be Shakespeare's Globe Theater next to the river. Clip from another film? Reused model?

There is something that sounds  familiar about this movie . It makes me think of  Sunday afternoons watching old movies on TV  as a child

According to IMDB it's footage taken from the Olivier 1944 version of Henry V.

It's Vincent Price's birthday today.  Would've been 104

That explains the prominence of the Globe Theatre in the shot.

The film is available as a DVD "on demand" (they burn a copy when you order it) from Warner Brothers or MGM, whoever inherited the rights from AIP.
