Apparently there is another Star Wars film set for release in 2016.  Here is a teaser trailer.  THe film is about stealing the plans for the death star.

Hopefully Disney et al will exploit the franchise as much as they can. If they take it seriously enough this could be a great revival (and a fresh source) of old school sci fi.  Opinions vary, but seems JJ Abrams went old school on the film.

OK.  Quiz and/or bet time.  There are two male actors who have not been assigned characters in the promotion to the public.  Who are they and which are their characters in the Star Wars universe?

EDIT:

I'll just drop this here.  Although I think most people have seen it already:

I'm all in, just waiting for Dec.

Had just graduated college and was starting my first job when the first movie came out in 1977, and now I'm retiring a week after the new one comes out. Weird. mf

Me'sa like'sa Jar Jar.
(trips on his own feet, inadvertently dodging tons of flak aimed at his head.)
The kind of luck he had in battle, he had be be some kind of high potential Force sensitive.  If only he learned to focus his mind.

On another matter, to be pedantic, Star Wars isn't sci-fi it's Space Fantasy.

Still no sign of Micky,.......

Pluto could be in one of the sequels though.

I'm surprised that Chewbacca is alive at all!

WARNING: (POSSIBLE MAJOR SPOILERS):  ...

one of the first things disney did when they bought the franchise is write off all the non-cinematic starwars stuff. It never happened.

But all that aside I commented on the first teaser in december about some of my complaints (I still think only a drunk engineer designs a droid like that) but all said I'll give it a chance.

I am absolutely ecstatic that the focus is moving back toward the practical effects and away from cgi.

I also like that there will be at least one female storm trooper.

I can only hope that some of the rumors I heard are complete BS. Because one in particular is going to see a lot of people storm out, completely pissed off.

Am I the only one who thinks those stormtroopers look like they've been designed to be easily made in Lego?

The correct term is homocybernetic... And how do you know he swings... er... every possible way?  After all he's made of bolts and nuts!
