Thats the one time i done something like that and was amused by peoples reactions rather than screaming my own head off in pain.

I'm reminded of Denis Leary speaking of his father:  "You know, my dad was just a--he was just a tough guy, you know? It was just the way he was brought up. He did not know pain. I went back to visit my dad when I was twenty-seven years old. Now, I'm a grown-up guy with my own place. I go back to visit--they're still living in the same house, and he's putting up new paneling over the old paneling. "You gotta keep up to date, son, that's the thing, you know." And he's using a pump-action nail gun, which was new at that time. You know what I'm talking about. Looks like a gun, but it shoots nails? He's talking to me, and he misfires. (Pulls nail out with his teeth) And takes the nail out with his teeth! Jesus Christ! I'll tell you, I never saw his balls but they must have been f***ing huge, ladies and gentlemen. "Give me a hand with these balls, huh? I can't get them into my pants. Christ. They're huge."

I remember looking up my real name Partridge on some sort of family history website. The site mentioned that Ribbens was an alternative name for the family, or so I am lead to believe. I thought it was quite a nice idea so I have waited for the correct opportunity to use it as a pseudonynm.
I was nearly going to go for Dickie Jim as it was a nickname I had back in college, but I decided against it.

Rather mainstream of me, being called Andrew...   I dabble from time to time in valve (thermionic) electronics, not for purely aesthetic reasons (the electronic version of gluing a cog on is to stick a valve base and a tube on to something) but because I have love and understanding of electrons flowing through the aether of a vacuum to a charged plate that attracts them.  Yes, I build (occasionally) and lust after (frequently) vacuum tube or valve electronics.

So "Thermionic Drew" it is.  In audio circles I am often known as "Fullrange Drew" or "FR Drew", in mountain biking advocacy circles I'm "trailsdrew"...

the name I'm using here is actually with some imagination anonymous spelled backwards ;P
I changed the y in an i for the sake of meaning (and left out the o :$)
when you go read it as Latin
you get I am (sum ) in (in) ona
the last part gave me some problems so finally I decided to use the letters as abbreviation:
ona stands for: obscure noctem ambulare
wich would translate to  dark night walking
so complete translation: I am walking in the dark night
took me a month to get it working not sure if it would work as a name for my persona though.. it was actually meant to be my writers pseudonym =o

I used to use Cain Mosni online for a bit, but didn't really have to fiddle with the spelling to make it mean anything- People just assumed it was my real name and that I was from some exotic land. Well, I'm from Oop North, if that counts. haha!

I've been using variations of VampirateMace on the internet since before the 'Vampirate' books were published, so it's got nothing to do with them, but rather with a vampire pirate character I'd created, named Mace, who'd been marooned. I don't even really identify the name with the character anymore, so much as just think, "That's me!"

Actually, my persona name is more or less my real name.  Theodoric is the Old Germanic form of my given name and 'Ap Rhys' is the old Welsh form of my surname.  (Was a genealogy geek for a while until I realized my family apparently does nothing but boink the neighbors in winter.)

Lady Eledora Banon was a character I created for a role playing game that my friends designed. She was time travelling inventor with a Zeppelin. I really enjoyed the character so I decided to carry on the name.

Rosalia. I got it from a video game...but in my defense, I thought it was the most beautiful name I'd ever heard.

So Rosalia Elizabeth Kaylock was born. Rosie, for short.

Well I didn't have a good character name picked when I made this profile, so I went with a generic steam name that also showed my gender.
Character wise, my preferred name is James Blayke. James is my middle name, and I like how Blayke sounds.

I created Arx Nimbus to use as a roleplaying character a while ago.

Arx is Latin for stronghold, citadel or fortress which I hope describes his willpower or personality.
Nimbus is just the cloud type. Sounded better than Cumulo or Stratus.

So yeah, I'm totally diggin' your names too. Very specky indeed.

Despite Having a "Cat" in my name. Sir Whiskers over in my avatar has nothing to do with this persona.

See, "Stormcat" was originally a superhero... and a girl. But since I've pretty much outlived the Teen Titans and Danny Phantom fandoms, I still wanted to keep the name.

If I were to have a more "Steampunky" Name, I'd pick.... Countess Sophia Eleanor Bathory. Don't call me Sophie. It's Sophia.

I had come up with a character with the last name Farthing about two years ago for a novel I wanted to write and I just loved it (and him, dude was awesome). I thought Penny was a cute name for a girl and loved the idea of that they are both small coins as well as the old fashioned bicycle. Penny Farthing, what a cute name for a girl. The "T" stands for nothing at the moment, although I'm open to suggestions.

Animasola means "lonely soul" a woman in chains amidst the barred prison doors and flames of Purgatory, the place where sinners go while awaiting final judgement.
Seems to fit me.
