After testing hair samples suspected of being from bigfoot.  They all turned out to be from things like wolves, bears and even cows.  Sorry, no big foot yet.  Lots more info at above link.

It's a conspiracy by the bovinians (source of the "cow" hairs), they've taken over. It's an udderly diabolical plan...

Well, although it's not a Yeti, they did find the DNA of a bear that was believed to be extinct:

My Dear Fellows,
The study of Tibetan gene adaptation is intriguing! To live at high altitudes is remarkable. I believe that visitors to Tibet must be carefully monitored for heart problems, going suddenly (as it were) into thin air.
But there is a disadvantage as well. Tibetan refugees who were settled by the Indian government in the south had a high percentage of sudden deaths due to a strange sort of heart stoppage, perhaps linked with too much oxygen or heat? Or the trauma of being displaced; refugees in other countries also suffer from this syndrome
As far as Yetis are concerned, the Tibetans' links with Denisovan and Neanderthal genes might produce throwbacks. . . There is unimpeachable journalistic evidence for these creatures:

Take my camel, dear, said my aunt Camellia, climbing down from that animal on her return from high mass. The camel, a white Arabian Dhalur (single hump) from the famous herd of the Ruola tribe, had been a parting present, its saddle-bags stuffed with low-carat [sic] gold and flashy orient gems, from a rich desert tycoon. . . .

Polar bears in Tibet? Did Tibet have an anctient zoo? That would explain that, probably...
