Greetings all.

It's been a while since I posted here, and I failed to get any pictures of my last costume (still have it, so might don it to show people my first effort). After some real life stuff, I am back with an idea, I know it's been done before, but I've been thinking of doing a steamy assassin. Drawing ideas from AC and other sources, I plan to slowly build up a costume (don't have a lot of money) and travel a bit next year to different places and meet new people.

I am starting things off by getting back in to some kind of respectable shape, if I'm going to look the part, might as well start beneath the costume and have a body that can actually do the free running side of things.

As a secondary part to this blog, I plan to create my girlfriend something in secret to go with my costume, but I'm plumb out of ideas for that. If anyone can help here, or even post some inspiring steamsassin pictures that would be great.

Assassin's Creed Unity comes out in November and takes place during the French Revolution. Also for a female assassin look at Aveline from Assassin's Creed Liberation.

Yeah. I've seen the gameplay, looks fairly sweet. We want something a bit more 'girly' than Aveline

Helena Bonham Carter's character from the Lone Ranger may work. Or something along the lines of Bayonetta possibly.

She chooses pretty every time, I have a good idea about my costume, but her's is giving me a headache!
HBC's Lone Ranger was one idea we did like and look at.

I do have a more pressing, yet not strictly steam issue. I'm attending a masquerade ball at the weekend. Does anyone know of a good make it yourself mask tutorial?

It's ok, I just misread it haha. Should have fully read the paragraph after 'layering the paper mache to form the mask'

So the ball is Labyrinth themed (David Bowie)

I bought 2 of these masks for £1.50 so I'm gonna play around with them, see if I can't steam at least one of them up.



Here's what I've done to one so far, let me know what you think the other one will be more steam (hopefully) but I'm struggling for ideas
