Hey all,

I want to recreate this, but am having a hard time finding a 'mad scientist lab coat' pattern.  Does anyone have a good pattern that I can start a base on this?  I'm really wanting to incorporate the hood and all.  Your help is welcome here.  Thank you all and MTFBWY!

I discovered a while back, while researching lab coats for a publicity project at work, that the old-style side-buttoned lab coat is called a "Howie Lab Coat." I have no idea why, although I would be curious to know if anyone here can explain the name. Mr. Boltneck...  Thank you.   I have looked up this, but am wanting to do a modified Howie with hood.. Wonder how difficult it would be to put a hood on that and modify the button location/flap/ and width of neck strip and buttons.
