Author Topic: North Texas Steampunks!!!  (Read 799 times)

Hello everyone!
I currently reside in North Texas, the "city" (if you can call it that) of McKinney about 30 mins away from Dallas and am in the beginnings of starting a North Texas Steampunk group open to all ages and people! There is a Dallas group the Steampunk Illumination Society (who is helping me with planning and is willing to bring my group in as a sister group), but I am in a circumstance currently where my means of transportation is unwilling to drive so far for worry of costs for gas and time as they are currently a part-time college student. So unable to get to the group, I thought there maybe others outside the rim of the Dallas metropolitan area who could be in the same situation of limited travel. I'm putting this out there to see if anyone in the area outside of Dallas would care to join my group. I'm looking for at least 8 people.
If you care to ask any questions or want to RSVP (so I know that you will definitely be coming) please message me. I assume there is private messaging on this site, I am relatively new.
Thank you for your interest!
Edit: I have made a Facebook page, please visit if you're interested!

This world is filled with islands, Little specks of sand
Mountain peaks in a cloudy sky, Each one's a different world
And so my sails unfurled, And I will raise my sails high
When I am feeling stagnant, My lungs are filled with mud
I dream of Beijing and Molokai
When I am feeling down
Get my feet off the ground
And throw my head back to the sky
And I...

No, but some people live so far away from the center of the Dallas group.
