All the ladies seem to like men in aprons. Hmmm... I wonder if I wore one like I saw in that anime a while back...

The leather/rubber/heavy canvas aprons in a dark collar over a vintage 'Dr Horrible' style lab coat and some goggles says 'Steampunk mad scientist' really well. As a man I can't really comment on frilly pinnies....

Hell, combine the 2. There we have created: Lolita axe murderer!

How about this one instead?  The WW2 pinny suggests more austerity than steaminess, n'est-ce-pas?

Drifting into SteamLoli and Japanese "メイドカフェ" territory, now…

Anime references?

Well, I'm not doing the "naked apron" thing (unless someone asks)

A self regenerating apron! The mans an inventor, and all he had to do was eat a metric tonne and then go on a prune and tapeworm 6 month diet!
Genius!

Actually a Steampunk Maid Cafe is quite feasible.  Let's ask the Tokyo Steampunk Society...

Perhaps some gentlemen should be looking at one of these to wear with their apron.

Ah, slutwear.......

I fear without adequate lower edge tensioning, a flash of ankle may very well "give the game away", any minor reserve of modesty and any chance of NOT being brought up on charges for exposure. I have great difficulty remembering a time when I last saw a cowling so woefully inadequate for containing the machinery beneath...... And I've removed a few intentionally inadequate cowlings in my time......

He was very short that's for sure. I would get you a clan, but if I spend the next half hour squinting at beefy man crotch trying to get a color sequence, people very well may make sweeping generalizations regarding my personal fetishes.
