One small note:  Yes, when we think "graffiti" we think spraycans, and for good reason, mostly historical.  But, having watched a good number of DC's more notorious artists do their work, (both sanctioned and criminal) it is important to note that they all ALSO had and regularly used fairly standard paintbrushes, mostly for detail work towards the tail end of a work's completion.

A great number of the pieces posted here and being touted as spraycan pieces are very, very obviously "mixed media" in that they have obvious brushwork as well as the obligatory spraycan elements.  It's best to keep the eye keen such as to avoid imagining that spraycans are capable of doing things that they simply cannot, regardless of the skill of the artist.
