I have to say that I love the birthday one most Steamstress. It has a nice comical flippant attitude and it makes me smile. “Let me get that for you” *Kerfwooosh!*
Okay, so I’m easily amused. Anyway, welcome and wonderful artwork.

steamstress! I am loving the birthday cake picture, particularly his expression. Also, in case no-one has mentioned it to you, there is a thread for all us Aussie Steamies here http://brassgoggles.co.uk/bg-forum/index.php?topic=400.0if you are interested.

Wow Thats some great inking work there on the colored one! I like them all, but i think the others would jump out more if you use some line width techniques. Plus the second panel has the angle that is the type that you don't want because it brings to mind something better left unsaid. But you did a good job keeping the charaters separate from the background. I have a copy of that game, but have as of yet to play.. someday i will, some day. So many rpg, so little time.

This is still in the works, but this is what I have so far. One of my friends said I need to add a gas mask, so let me know what you think and what I can change. Sorry the image is so dark I was at work when I took the picture and it is on acrylic paper so there i a slight reflection.

No, I don't think that would do at all. The lady has such a lovely, delicate face--I'd hate to see it obscured... Just needs to be fleshed-out/detailed a bit more, I think. Very cute!

In my school of though, the gas mask is not necessarily steampunk. More of a future post apocalyptic thing.

I totally agree--not so sure why so many people see them as Steamy...

I got a papercraft "mr hal" and was struck with how much the lens looked like a monocle. Hmm, I wonder if HAL900 would papercraft, I've never done one before but there must be tutorials on the net.

I teach an art class and this week we've been doing head drawing. Today I gave them half a head to complete any way they wanted. This was the sample I did. The join is less apparent in the original.

There's the button you can click on that says "Insert Image", or you can simply put [ img][/ img] with the link in between it (and without the spaces). But I must say, that looks fabulous! Instant favourite from my side <3

First post, don't hurt me! I generally don't express myself in such a manner, and this was my -first- time using photoshop, but I took a picture of myself with my cell phone camera, and well.. here's my final result. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3400/3187905006_7889940382_o.jpg (didn't want to insert it due to it's size: 1280x1024) Comments more than welcome, and I look forward to posting in this community =)

Kinda like a reversed Steven Spielberg. I like it.
