This is more of a design I just finished. [I'm also going to be using pieces of it in another project in progress] I got some positive feedback from another forum, and I was wondering what any of you may think? *By the way, I love all of the talent I've been coming across in this forum! Keep it up! I'd love this for wallpaper! Do you have this full-sized?

Really beautiful art pieces everyone. I am flabbergasted at the amount of talent here! I am in fact trying to struggle through a tattoo design as well (curse my lack of art skills!) Perhaps someone here could lend a hand on their spare time? (It's a full backpiece so anyone up to a challenge is free to ask about it- it involves quite a bit of gear/detail work)

A few more unfinished doodles (I will finish something one of these days ) Warning, some spoilers for Doctor Who S4 finale! A black and white exercise to practice applying value, as my colour work tends to get a bit flat. I call her Matilda, she owns a tea shop, and reads tarot cards. Generic Steampunk Woman #2345235: And here come the spoilers... Due to disgruntlement over the finale, a few people in the Who communities over at LJ have started alternate universe timelines/fanfiction series. One of them is for a steampunked Rose and DoctorClone (or Handy, if you will) who hook up with alt versions of Donna and Jack in the Zeppelin world, and have fantastical skypirate adventures. So! Initial sketch of Handy and Rose Donna and Rose WIP (Handy and Jack will be making an appearance) Aaand you can see where I recycle some costuming ideas, heh

Huzzah! At last I have devised an excuse for posting in this thread! BEHOLD! Me in a labcoat n' gasmask holding up my left thumb and a whatchamacallit almost full of an ominous, opaque, green liquid. In reality, I do not possess such magnificent apparel (and my hair is shorter, contrary to whatever photo you may have seen... My hair was cut off soon after they were taken).

"The Rescue" - A painting commissioned by Captain Robert of Abney Park. It is roughly 34 x 24 inches, painted on a mahogany panel in acrylic. I added the submarine and tentacles to provide some minor action and drama to the otherwise serene piece.

Quite a nice thread here. Good to see all the different styles in one place!
I myself am working on a piece right now. It measures 24"x18" and is all in black ink. I expect it to be done within the next few weeks as it is quite intriquette. When I have finished I shall take a picture and post it on here.
