Whilst not really steampunk as such, there is some steam in it, and also an arachnid-legged Teamonster ( being ridden by a weretie .....don't ask ...) It was heaps of fun to do.( that's a cigarette in his hand by the way, not a whip ) is it... sneezing out a bra?

No! haha, they're soggy teabags ( yes I know, they aren't that great, I've never drawn a teabag in my life! ) . It's how teamonster catches it's prey....For the record, here is weretie.

wow, how did I miss this up until now? Well, here's a little sketch that earned a little rough coloring and some tablet work, still quite sketchy though (which I actually kind of like)...enjoy! (and yes, I know my human anatomy is horrid, thats what I get for not using references, though I like things a little less "real" at times -also, playing with the idea of either a mechanical arm or some sort of armor. I may attempt to one day replicate it to wear, we'll see. It needs some sharp dangerous bits and baubles though from my DA gallery: http://ash-n-steam.deviantart.com/

I don't see anything wrong with the anatomy, it's a perfectly gorgeous piece. Kudos, Ash.

Why thank you! My human anatomy is usually terrible, I'm much better at plants and animals (or things that never existed)

I would love to see any successes you have if you choose to replicate it!

I would suggest browsing Ash's Deviantart. Several pictures now cycle repeatedly as my background.

So, I love printmaking. In terms of an actual artform it's pretty steamy... we use huge presses and different types of acids and corrosive salts on copper, zinc, wood, and big freakin rocks to make images. This semester I've actually been trying to make some Victorian-inspired artwork though, and I'm really happy with the results so far, and I want to post 'em. Solarplate Etching Photo-positive plate Lithography

Oh my god, another printmaker! Come and give me a hug! By the time I came in contact with steampunk, I was already on the end of term, and will have to wait till march to get back to the presses. But I still have a couple of steampunkish prints lying around. Wood block printing. If I had known back then, I'd have made gears instead of circles. The following are all lithography: I've always loved dresses and corsets - if only my climate allowed for them! This one puts the "punk" in "steampunk". Kind of gothic, but... victorian if anything. This one can only be called steampunk because of the crazy machine. It's a scene from a story in my head; it's a medieval fantasy world, till they find the amazingsome lost steampunk technology. (I had just found brassgoggles back when I made it)

I drew a thing! It's been about a week or so of work, and I might go back and fiddle with it some more, but for now I'd call it finished. Please be warned: it's a bit on the large size, 1024x768 desktop size.

Hi, Being very brave here because I very rarely let my stuff out for anyone to see Two pen and ink drawings 2nd is suitably steampunk influenced, the Heath Robinson - Ivor McDoo creations I love. Lastly is a 3d render of some sunglasses I designed for Rayban, that were influenced by WW2 fighter googles
