Never had to. The trick is not to get caught. Wink

I'm in NSW Central Coast

Whereabouts are you based?

Aah, so don't get caught you say?

Central coast is a nice part of the world. I'm up in Brisbane, perhaps not so nice. Tongue

I'm sort of middle west Otto. There is nothing wrong with Brisbane, per se, I really shouldn't complain... it tries its best! Smiley

Sadly, though, it never quite gets there.

Greetings fellow convicts. I'm in Brisbane, north westish (I think). I would suggest Otto and Babbage may have seen me out, but I normally get eclipsed by my fiance. Tongue

Tally-ho! I'm on the sunny Gold Coast, having returned a few months back from a couple of years living in Whitechapel and visiting various lands where many eccentricities abound.

I'm up to Brisbane usually once a week or fortnight, usually for a few days at a time.

I'll have nothing bad said about Sydney. It was okay when I lived there.

How do I know that? I haven't met everyone there. Who knows, you may be the exception that proves the rule.
Besides, the day I can't make sweeping generalisations about a fellow state is the day I move to Tazzie. Grin

That's such a great movie. I've actually been lucky enough to see in on the big screen several times, including one with a Q&A with him. Quite the genius.

No, the general feeling I got was that the whole process was a bit of a pain(layering 2D images to make 3D ones sounds rather sould destroying:P), and he was waiting for money before going ahead. This was nearly a year ago now, so I would just suggest just keeping an eye on the website, I certainly am!

This isn't exactely Steampunk, but is anyone else on here going to Supanova Brisbane? Being the nerd I am I'm going for both days, and thought it would be cool to meet people in the 'real' world.

CSU Gold Coast is what exactly? I've never heard of it. I thought we just had Griffith and Bond.

I live on the Gold Coast. Doesn't allow much for the dressing up.

I'm considering going to Supanova Brisbane. Money is tight, so I'm not sure at this stage. If I go, it'd probably be both days, too. Smiley And I want to see the preview for Earthsea.
