Do you live in or are willing to travel to the Dallas, Texas area?  Are you a writer of Steampunk fiction?  A poet who writes in the Steampunk genre?  An artist who creates Steampunk art?  If so, the Steampunk Poet needs your help!

Beginning in June of 2013, the first Wednesday in every month will be celebrated at the flagship Half Price Books store in Dallas, TX.  Our June gathering is already covered - the Steampunk Poet himself will appear to read selections from his latest work, "Songs for a Mechanical Age."  But, from July on, I will need fellow artists to appear, discuss and present their work, and hawk their merchandise.  We will not be providing any honoria for your appearance but you WILL have the chance to sell your work to an audience of bibliophiles who are interested in the Clockwork Age!

Do YOU have what it takes?  Can you give a twenty minute presentation on your art that is interesting, entertaining and engaging?  If so, please respond by either email directly to me (blackbeads_tc@yahoo.com) or with a response to this posting.  We are committed to presenting through September but if we get enough of a response this "Steampunk summer" may become a permanent spot on the map!

Thank you!
