That sort of quiet usually precedes some shenanigans with Heroes. Things should be livelier shortly. Have fun.

Well they do say that the devil makes work for idle hands..... I may think of some mischief to make but my imagination is distinctly lacking

so in trying to cope with the yearly allergies I somehow managed to make my self super sensitive to everything and have been living in a bubble of pure space for a few weeks. it is the only way I can not have everything swell up and become imposable to deal with. If you all see the crimson cape any time soon give him a kick in the nethers for calling it a hamster ball and running away before I could get him.

I've told The Purple Parasol about The Crimson Cape's unsporting comment. Parasol has a very creative way with psychological torture so I know he'll be happy to arrange something special for this.

Thank you for that. I think I have finally shocked my system out of the histamine loop but I do not suggest useing my method as I am more resistant than most due to Mama's traditions. I don't think i want to see another lilac bush for quite some time.

We've all had projects like that. Riding my modified bathysphere out on the lava flow of an underwater volcano I had just activated was a difficult undertaking. Not helped by the hysterical "Hero" trying to wrest the controls from me at the time.

I'm so Insulted, I have NEVER had fleas! Unlike some of those wierdo's over there I know what hygiene is!

One of the many reasons that all practical Villains devise their own transport. Have you seen The Purple Parasol's new airship? Such delightfully fiendish improvements.

I will admit I dont care for air travel as much as most people but I do keep a few ships just in case they become necessary.

They still blame me for the destruction of two carriages and sever damage to a third! Bloody ingrates forget that if it wasn't for me and my crew of armed guardians who had been sent to escort me back to the world, everyone on the train would have been killed!

Perhaps you need a private train or at least your own carriage.

Wans't my fault, I had been hiding in eastern europe for the last 70 years. The company tracked me down, and forced me to return. Half way back across Europe the trains was set upon by 200 Lycans from the void! I did offer to buy 3 new reproduction carriages (which they accepted) but they still slap so many rules on me

that is why you need a few lawyers on a leach so to speak. I rather dislike the law when it refuses to see the logic in doing things the simple way, mainly my way, but it can be a useful tool. Have them site the Oberon vs Wales case(it is extent in most of the world in your series but it may be going by a different name.) and making those who oppose your rights look like backwards thinking fools is simple. It is one thing to force them to accommodate you and quire another for them to bend over backwards telling you how much they like the color of your new clothes of their free will.

The Village in the Clouds
This high up in the Austrian Alps the mist is an ever present part of the scenery. The rain has been falling continuously since my arrival at the hotel and everything feels damp. I had left my bags and rifle in the room provided and now sat in the bar looking out the wide windows at the mountains around me. This village in the alps is only accessible from one pass that leads across a narrow wooden bridge and up through a forest from the town of Rattenburg below. The top of the mountains are covered in snow even in May and as I watch the fog flowing arounds the mountain walls that surround this isolated village my thoughts fall back to the stories of a certain Count Dracula and his home in Romania. The air outside the hotel is cold enough that exposed skin starts to burn after only a few moments and the cold rain seeps through even my heavy travel coat that now hangs in my room dripping with water. At a thousand feet above sea level the air is fresher but thinner than I'm used to but in the warm air of the bar I feel safe even with the cloud of tobacco smoke that is flowing around the ceiling imitating the mist outside. The mist is almost like a living thing as is travels around in circles trapped in this valley high in the alps and I watch the mountain tops appear and disappear. I look down towards the entrance into the village from the forest pass and watch as it disappears back into the fog. I am starting to believe that the stories of visitors never re-appearing after visiting this place to be real. Over the joyous sound of the locals celebrating I hear the church bells chime, I take a step outside for a breath of fresh air and listen to the bells chime nine o'clock, the church bells peel echoing in certain directions and muffled by the mist in others. I swear I hear the howl of a wolf but I'm sure that there are no wolves up in the mountains.
