The list would be entirely too long to post, so I'll summarize. I mostly listen to hard rock, metal, industrial, darkwave, and pretty much anything from the 80's and 90's that isn't entirely dreadful.

Mine only includes what's actually in my playlist. There's a lot more bands I like, but that could take months . . .

Well my playlist is over 200,000 songs and I usually have it on random, hence my hesitation to post my playlist. I could post the last 10 or so bands that I've listened to while at work. And mind you this is in no particular order or even genre, just what was on random.
Vast, Rammstein, In Flames, Lacuna Coil, Shiny Toy Guns, Orgy, Voltaire, Kill Hannah, The Tea Party, Snake River Conspiracy, 69 Eyes, Peter Murphy, Queen, Lennon Murphy, Megaherz.

Eey! I'm not alone! At the moment, I'm mostly listening to Radiohead, the Mars Volta and the Polyphonic Spree, as well as slightly smaller doses of Sigur Rós, which is a bit of a change from usual, but they're definitely in my library to stay. More normally, I tend to listen to a lot of loud classical music (Rachmaninov, certain works by Beethoven, etc); Rammstein, Jerk, Tool, Stone Sour, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, etc; a fair amount of Greig (I love him... he's so funny XD); most of the Beautiful Girls; quite a bit of Santana, though I don't listen to it so much; a few musicals; and stack more classical. Generally speaking, I can't stand Metallica, but I do have S&M (the one they recorded with the San Francisco symphony, y'know?). Metal+Symphony should happen a lot more often.

Let's see... Some of the most recent ones are: Elliott Smith The Used My Chemical Romance Dashboard Confessional A Skylit Drive Tom Waits Panic at the Disco (their new album... someone asked me to check it out.) Radiohead Ed Harcourt The Bathers The Boy Least Likely To The Decemberists Hawthorne Heights 30 Seconds to Mars Daryl Scairiot Pixies Rasputina Taking Back Sunday Lydia Otep Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds Which is reasonably representative, except for the lack of 65DaysofStatic, Indian Summer and Sigúr Rós. EIDT: And verily would the world be uplifted most immensely, if only more such sorry wights as we could be coerced into saying "verily" more frequently.

I like so much music I can't answer your question! everything from death metal to classical to power metal to rave to himalayan-pan-pipe-cacharpaya music and much more Right now though I've been listening to many remixes of "Big Blue" from F-Zero X, That song is so epic its unbeleivable! I'd gladly link anyone who wants to hear to a really good heavy metal version of Big Blue Also I feel I should mention Soul Reaver Soundtrack (always!)
Same here! InSoc is my favorite band along with Sonata Arctica (thier early work, SA's newest album isn't very good ) But yeah Kurt Harland/InSoc thier music is smashing!

My favourites are Cradle Of Flith, Emperor, and Dimmu Borgir (in no order except alphabetical) but I also listen to... 1349 Akercocke Bathory Behemoth Behexen Borknagar Burzum Carpathian Forest Children Of Bodom Dark Funeral Darkthrone Dawn Dissection Enslaved Enthroned Gehenna Gorgoroth IHSAHN Immortal Keep of Kalessin Luciferian Marduk Mayhem Satyricon The Meads Of Asphodel Thus Defiled Thy Serpent Windir ... not that you'd guess from my appearance. I used to like a vast scope of music but I got tired of it all and fed up of buying albums I got bored with after a week. The above stuff I can listen to time and time again without getting bored of it.

I'll like to make mention here of a particlar favourite piece of mine~ the March of the Knights from Prokofiev’s ballet Romeo & Juliet, the one that goes DUM de DUM de DUM de DUM de DUM de DUM de DUM DUM. Every time i hear it, in my mind's eye i can see huge gears crashing into place & pistons pounding. Rousing, ponderous and hummable- that's what i look for in a tune.
Other than that, the likes of these grace my High Fidelity Apparatus:
Cruxshadows Depeche Mode Mesh Wolfsheim The Sisters Rosetta Stone The Damned The Clash Bauhaus Killing Miranda Paradise Lost Rammstein Apotygma Berzerk VNV Nation Beton Beborn London After Midnight The Mission
And a couple of really embarassing ones as well that i may share with you once i know you better (or got drunk).
