Cherry Venture, QLD. Most of this has been removed. Sand erosion is exposing some of the remains, causing a navigational hazard for vehicles.

Beautiful, chironex, just beautiful - especially the ones without people!
As for removing the wreck, I would leave the wreck and make people drive around it - the wreck is more important than a few 4WD-ers!

I saw a documentary just last week about Japan & their Kamikaze weapons. Shikotan Island was where the built and operated their one man suicide torpedoes from.
