Wow. Brilliant work, I love the effects you've applied, and the straps are inspired. I particularly like the pictures in the last one, very creative and adds a certain poignancy to the piece.

I'll have to see what old tack the missus has kicking around - I never thought of using it like that. Three generations of horse ownership should result in stuff in sheds for me to "acquire".

Could you share some details of the process for finishing?  The actual name of the finish?  I want to make an Iris Diaphragm with that finish.
