I have in my possession now the new addition of the painted ladies book with some of the interiors, as well as another book to do with victorian houses that I shall keep secret until I produce something using their inspiration to show off.
It was an exciting week for book deliveries here. It's got me inspired all over again.

Riverboat House Aug 22nd, 2013 by DADvocate Nearly every day for a year or more, when I drive to and from work I’ve seen this house under construction. It appears to finally be completed. To say the least, whomever built it likes riverboats. The house stands along Hwy. 52 looking onto and across the Ohio River about 45 miles east of Cincinnati. The house is quite large. I estimate it to be 5,000 to 6,000 square feet. This riverboat/house is a little more upscale but probably doesn't have moose in the front yard.

Theer are some more of those boat places around Ohio - is it a "thing " there ? Put in Bay, Ohio The Benson Ford is a beautiful ship now owned by Bryan Kasper. Having dutifully served on the Great Lakes for 50 years, the ship can now be found towering on a cliff on South Bass Island in Lake Erie at Put-in-Bay, OH. Originally, Henry Ford had it built as his own cruise ship and named it after his grandson. Then in 1986, after it had been stripped of its engine, Frank J. Sullivan bought the luxurious vessel from a salvage company, brought it to the island, and transformed it into a lakeshore residence for his family. I just heard about this abandoned riverboat/house off the Chena River. Now there's an ingenious contraption - a house with a built-in lawnmower! Though it must be jolly hard work pushing the house round the garden every week in the summertime. Or do you just chain a couple of moose to it and set them loose?

This is the moment for you,, Admiral, to design an all-apocalypse vehicle in Steampunk style. Flood, zombie, alien invasion . . .
