This is a case for the 1888 edicts. By royal decree, I end up at Whitechapel, as sober as I can be.

Where was I? I'm sure I wasn't covered in quite this much dust... I blame the construction works at my last place.
Onwards to Farringdon, anyway.

Persons intending to travel by open carriage should select a seat with their backs to the engine, by which means they will avoid the ashes emitted therefrom, that in travelling generally, but particularly through the tunnels, prove a great annoyance; the carriage farthest from the engine will in consequence be found the most desirable.

Not sure, if I should continue this rubber or start anew.?
Anyway...I'll place a small peacock's feather on St. Paul's and re-route my good self to Kensal Rise.

Oh...my old war wound? I got that at The Battle of Dorking. Very nasty affair that was, I can tell you. The Ministry of Tea respectfully advises you to drink one cup of tea day...for that +5 Moral Fibre stat.

I have lost my map, so will have to generate a new one before beginning my journey anew! Can't explore mapped territory without a map - at least, not effectively!

I see we got held up by the construction works on the Elizabeth Line... What's that you say? Delayed by another year? Dash it, let's just get on with the game... I throw in the contents of my pocket (a 1965 shilling, a lot of lint and an exceptionally soiled handkerchief.... well it has been stuffed in there for two years) and move to Borough.

Have map now, so Stockwell via Vauxhall to Victoria, and hope for the best! Hmmm!, so to Victoria huh? Then I'm allowed to invoke rule 12 of the late Meiji ruling, published 1920 (and before you all get your knickers in a twist, I did mention is was "late"). Holland Park.
