Hi all
This is my first post hope it's in the right place. Oh and be gental to a newbie  Smiley

I have a ca870 spring shootie and was thinking of doing something to make it look a bit more steamy.
Thing is I'm after some ideas from you vets who have been doing this a while.
I will say I'm more of a less is more kinda chap with the  airing on the understated side

Build out side of magazine level to the main chassis of the weapon with Styrene sheet (plasticard).

Use built up area to incrase availible space on which to build additional pipes and coils with a couple of CO2 cartridges for good measure.

I would highly recommend whatever mod you do making it look less like a real weapon, in NYC the cops would draw down on that without a second thought.

First thing I'd do is 'flange' the barrel and then paint it a goldish brass colour like a blunderbuss  Smiley

Fabricate some sort of removable shoulder stock like:

I agree with Carter that you could flair the muzzle or add some sort of brass funnel or trumpet end:

Maybe add a brass carbide lamp for night shooting like the popular flashlight attachments:

This is what someone else did with basically the same gun:

I'd suggest going for something like what's been suggested here e.g. a blunderbuss style weapon.

But I'd bear in mind what Will Rockwell said and try and make as unrealistic as possible (you show some knowledge of weapons laws here in the UK, but bear in mind, if you're carrying ANYTHING that looks like a functioning firearm you could get arrested). If you want a good idea of what might get in you trouble with the old bill talk to Tink, since he works as an armourer for film and tv, he's probably more vested in UK firearms regulations than most people.
