When I flew to America back in '97 one of the cabin crew (according to her name badge) was called 'Breezy Maul'. I figured she was Darth's sister!

I went to school with 3 siblings named Summer, Wendy, and Stormie, their last name was Weathers!

My boyfriend's name is Brandon Lewis, his sister's name is Crystal. She is engaged to a guy named Justin Brandon, who has a sister also named Crystal, so her full name is Crystal Brandon, which will be the same name my boyfriend's sister has once she is married. My boyfriends sister and her fiance have a son named Brentlee Lewis Brandon, she used her maiden name for her sons middle name. Very odd turn of events.

I know a family in the North, by the name of Case. Seems that they did not think it through or they were smoking something more than DuMaurier when they named their boy Justin! I won't blame him for insisting on being called by his middle name (Unless it is something like Chase or Stu)

Knew a brother and sister with last name of Howe. His first name was Steve and no, not even remotely related to the lead guitarist of Yes. Her name was Becky, pretty normal except someone gave her a nickname of 'Show Me'. A good friend of mine had neighbors whose daughters were named: Candi and Cookie. Their parents owned a sweet shop, go figure.

Ooh that's reminded me, I once knew a guy who had 2 daughters, the eldest was called Coco, and the youngest was Poppy, called Pops by all = Coco Pops (for non UK residents, that's a kind of chocolate breakfast cereal).

One of my best friends at school was named Theresa Green and I knew a fellow stall holder at my local craft market named Pearl Harber.

I knew a bloke who's last name was Laurie. He was telling us about a conversation he'd had with his wife about baby names and apparently it's tradition in his family to name the son after one of the grandfathers on the other spouse's side (go figure). Sadly one grandfather was called 'Hugh', which would have been no good, and the other was called 'House', which was almost worse. Hugh Laurie or House Laurie...

I think I should also mention I had a dream about this game, only Bailey was a woman...

I assure you, that incident in Singapore was all a misunderstanding.

Years ago working in the civil service Child Benefit I encountered the records for the following:

Family Name:  Carte        Given name:  Orson

Family Name: Wharrier    Given Name:  Saxon
                                     Given Name:  Roman
                                     Given Name:  Viking

And I went to school with two brothers =  Paris & Athens Morningstar.

But the 'worst' I know of a girl at our school everyone knew as Maria, when it came to the Exam results presentation night was announced as:-
Mariablessedintheyesofthelord Wilson.
(Really religious parents!)
She changed it to Maria by 'deedpol' once she turned 18.

At least they lead off with "Maria". The some of the virtue names the early puritans went in for are still around foe girls such as Patience, Prudence, and Hope, but they also went in for long, compound motto names for boys such as Fightthegoodfightoffaith Brewster and his brother Fleefornicationforthesakeofyoursoul, both real people in Massachusetts, early eighteenth century. History informs us that they went by Fighting  Brewster and Fucking Brewster respectively. One wonders what their parents made of the latter!
