Fantastic. Although most wall switches here in UK are the flatter sort. I suppose I can probably find the sticky outy sort if I try harder.

But those are even better - make a knife switch that looks truly dangerous to even touch, much less operate - and have it simply turn the original switch, hidden in a box. Cheers Chas.

I saw that posted on farcebork - I openly stated that I have appropriated the idea and shall create my own in hardwood, porcelain and brass.
Actually, I'm quite enamored with odd bits of electrical ... things.
Therefore - I shall have

In the Dominion, it is essential that if Knob-and-tube wiring is exposed during renovation, it may not be covered up under any circumstances. Lighting may remain Knob and tube, but if ANY modification is done, all electrical outlets, regardless of location relative to the modification must be wired with regulation and current (Yes the pun is intentional) hardware. There is a photo I saw of a switch plate that looks like an old Knife-style circuit interrupter. If I find it I will Post it, These switches would look great in my secret lab... workshop http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2010/09/24/article-1314872-0A7F484A000005DC-207_634x371.jpg
