today's theme is bumper stickers
If I remember my Bible correctly from school, the second bumper sticker is incorrect. Money isn't the root of all evil, the love of money is the root of all evil. The bumper sticker maker needs to check that out, methinks!!

The word pagan came from paganus , who mean peasant . Its was a way to significate than christianism was the religion of the elite and paganism the one of the savage worker class.
''Trickster shows us how we trick OURSELVES. Her rampant curiosity backfires, but, then, something NEW is discovered (though usually not what She expected)! This is where creativity comes from—experiment, do something different, maybe even something forbidden, and voila! A breakthrough occurs! Ha! Ha! We are released! The world is created anew! Do something backwards, break your own traditions, the barrier breaks; destroy the world as you know it, let the new in.'' Extract of the Dreamflesh article ''Path of The Sacred Clown''

Sold here is such a wonderful picture. The characters are recognizable. The naked gun" 1988. "Highway to nowhere" 1977. What kind of girl is this? Any ideas?

Speaking of squirrels (were we?....yes, we were) 1) This is pretty old...some of you may recognise it 2) It falls more in the "awww, how cute" category than hilarious 3) I will always like it because it is so spontaneous (and true) The Photo-bombing Ground Squirrel of Banff National Park Write up from The Telegraph: Scene stealing squirrel crashes Banff tourist photo (Aug 2009) In the isolated beauty of the Canadian lakes, this couple thought it was safe to take a holiday snap without a stranger wandering into shot. But they hadn't reckoned on this curious interloper deciding to steal the limelight. The cheeky ground squirrel popped up in the foreground after Melissa Brandts and her husband had set the timer on their camera for a picture of them by Lake Minnewanka in Banff National Park. Melissa Brandts, who was visiting from Minnesota, had set up her camera on a tripod to capture her and her husband, Jackson, in front of picturesque Lake Minnewanka in May. "We had our camera set up on some rocks and were getting ready to take the picture when this curious little ground squirrel appeared, became intrigued with the sound of the focusing camera and popped right into our shot!" she wrote. The ground squirrel became the focus of the picture as the couple faded into the background. Jackson Brandts took a few more shots using a remote-control shutter. "A once in a lifetime moment! We were laughing about this little guy for days!" wrote his wife. The couple submitted the photo to a National Geographic contest. The magazine posted it to an online gallery on Aug. 7. In less than a week, the Crasher Squirrel, as it's become known, has stormed the internet. Photoshop enthusiasts have added the furry scene-stealer to family portraits, famous paintings, and even to the top of the Queen's hat with a pile of nuts. Back at Lake Minnewanka on Thursday, the squirrels continued to charm and confound visitors. "They are a nice colouring and they come right up to you. They are pretty friendly," said Dean Hartey, visiting from Edmonton. Tourism officials are delighted with the buzz created by the Crasher Squirrel at a time when the number of international visitors to Banff has slumped. "The Canadian tourism industry as a whole has certainly been facing unprecedented challenges so the welcome addition of the Columbian ground squirrel as Banff ambassador is good news," said Julie Canning, president and CEO of Banff Lake Louise Tourism.

Youtube has comments ? (On a serious note, one of the plugins I use enables you to hide the comments section. Since I value what little sanity I have left, I use that function.)

Youtube has comments ? ... Of course, it can be applied to any format that has a comments section, especially op-eds, but the person who sent it to me was referencing a youtube video.

If I remember my Bible correctly from school, the second bumper sticker is incorrect. Money isn't the root of all evil, the love of money is the root of all evil. The bumper sticker maker needs to check that out, methinks!! My Good Banfili I don't know how I missed it, but I finally saw your response today - absolutely correct , the LOVE of Money is the issue. Otherwise an entire 'nother DOGMA could have grown up: imagine the following conversation between a travelling Hittite and an Israelite Official : Isr: Welcome to the Lesser Judea Regional District, may I see your clay tablets please? Hit: Here you are my good person! Is there any news on the local water? Isr: Oh My yes, you'll want to avoid the first two wells in the Jezreel Valley, they are just price gouging, but the later ones have fair prices and excellent dates! Hit: Why thank you, that is handy news! Are there any districts that I might ought to avoid as I sourjourn through the Valley? Isr: well, besides the usual rock throwing here and there, steer clear of The Clay Grounds on the plain of Jordan ! That place is EVIL! in fact it is the Root Of All Evil! Hit: Oh. Ummmm really? how is that? Isr: Ah I got it from the Scholar, see, since Money is the root of all evil, and money comes from precious metals, therefore the ground the metal is dug from must be the source of ultimate evil, right? Hit: Ok, gotta go, love ya, byebye https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q26d23oA-DYyhs prof marvel
