Currently making my way through the entirety of ReBoot and I'd forgotten how good parts of it were, so I just had to share this. For those not in the know, the action takes place inside Mainframe; a computer. Bob is a Guardian (sort of a souped-up antivirus) and Megabyte is a virus continually trying to take over Mainframe. It's Enzo's first birthday and a large part of the citizenry of Mainframe is gathered for his party. A prime opportunity for Megabyte to carry out another of his evil plans…
If only all villains would make such an entrance.

I've always assumed it's a sideways reference to the BFG 9000 ultimate weapon in Doom but, yes, in this case the G=Guitar. In a later episode (toward the end of season 2, I think) Dot wields a pretty good facsimile of the Doom BFG - her comment is "Do you think this makes me look a little too butch?" Hang on… Here it is. S02E10 'Web World Wars'

And several other reasons why ReBoot may have boosted it's audience amongst teenage boys in its later seasons Yeah..for kids.. In earlier seasons the makers were forbidden from making the characters too sexual, hence the peculiar "monobreast" sported by females in the first two seasons... By the third they decided to ignore the orders from above and gave them a more natural shape. Also, two 2000ad artists designed the show! Aah, trivia... As a few board members here can attest, I have had a long term interest in the lovely Miss Matrix...

Sent to me by a co-worker: Dad's New iPad A Daughter is visiting her father and is helping in the kitchen. She asks: So tell me dad, how are you managing with the new I-Pad we gave you for your birthday? This is in German but that's all you really need to know. You'll get the rest:

That's pretty good but I'd be even more impressed if all the figures were the same size as the largest doctor. But for that to work they'd all have to bigger on the inside than on the outside.
