This is a photo from about a year ago of me and my two best friends, Bo and Jessie. They are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. That's Bo on the left and Jessie on the right. I like to imagine that Bo is an elderly and eccentric British aristocrat (he used to be an "upper class wit" when he was younger), but he has a big heart and I love him for that. Jessie is his less uptight, more free-spirited transatlantic cousin or niece. That is how I see their personalities (I apply archetypes to everyone I know). Everyone else is welcome to share their pets of any species here.

Okay, always happy to share piccies of my beautiful girls. This is Smotyn. she's an elderly lady now, although she tends to forget that sometimes: - She's the most intelligent cat I've ever met. And she has opposable thumbs! And this is Meme. She's a Turkish van and the local cattery refer to her as "the Nutter". - Yes, that's me sitting cross-legged with the fluffy one sprawled in a most unladylike fashion.

I present to all the mascots of the Birdnest Littens ... A tiny cat; catcher and consumer of mice, rats and small dogs. She's getting a might bit old at 18 years. Mr. Mustoffoles ... Comforter and medium sized dog (although he's actually a cat). Also useful for as a substitute for wool. He thinks he's a mouser as well - follows Littens everywhere. He quite enjoys walking with us through the woods. Loves LOVE to be picked up and pampered. Our other cat, Abstract, can not bothered with the musings of humans. Kind of a scaredy cat. No more dogs for us at the moment ... we lost our Aussie a few years ago.

This is my kitty, Paisly! I just call her Kitty though. She's the smallest full grown cat I've ever seen. And this is Jack, our roaming peacock. He's pretty mean and noisy, but I guess he puts up with us. My mom's had peacocks on our land for years, but he's the only one left now.

This is Freddie, so named because of his ears doing the Freddie Mercury pose, and his adorable moustache. Top hat and monacle added for adorable effect.

Don't have a picture, but my pet is a month old quarter horse. She's a bay right now but will hopefully grow up into a grey just like her mom. I also have a 3 year old dog, no pict again, but he's a brindle 1/2 border collie 1/4 Boston bull terrier and 1/4 pug, surprisingly he is cute.

There is some pictures from my cats Nasu , Misu & Miska. ( They are brothers from same litter and now about four years old..) http://astalo.deviantart.com/art/The-three-stooges-151982671Their mother was a normal farm cat, but I have heard that one of the grand parents was Norwegian or Siberian forest cat and that long hair gene jumped over one generation. Other two are about normal size, but that Nasu is really quite huge compared to it's brothers. It's also the most gentle one, and other two sometimes join forces and bullied or chase it in our yard.

Added a few piccies of my Cichlid tank..... ~SeVeN~ Enough filtration for a pond... THAT is actually MORE filtration than I used for my 800 Gallon pond ! I only have two fish now, but I've been keeping coldwater fish for about 24 years. They are nothing special, just a red comet, and a white common goldfish. They are named Cog and Flywheel. Or Test Subject 134 and Test Subject 140.... I'll get pics later, I'm still sorting out their new tank after the failure of the last one. SS

His name is Dima, English Lab, and my roommate's mother sent us some bunting for the Queen's Jubilee and I dressed him all up for photo shoots. Not so well done though, I'm afraid he's a terrible model. Well, he's as big as my Maine coon cat Tobias and just as fluffy and white. Unfortunately Tobias has been missing since January.

This is my Vincent. He's the Spawn of Satan, in that he is absolutely EVIL to everyone but me and my Grandfather. I love my baby >:3 This is Hazel (aka Little Miss). She's my Grandfather's cat (orginially my twin's cat, but Hazel chose to attach herself to my grandda instead. as a note, my twin and I live with our grandda). She's very shy, but very loveable once she gets to know a person. And this is Eli. He's my mom's but since we live so close, we're always visiting, so technically he is the "family" dog. XD

Minnie and Maggie are sisters, but born a few years apart. Minnie is the smallest and most active cat I've ever known. Maggie would probably like her to be a bit less active. This photo taken by my daughter probably sums up their relationship. Sibling Bonding

This photo taken by my daughter probably sums up their relationship. Sibling BondingThe black and white one looks VERY much like my mother's cat Suzie. Suzie only has three legs after a front one had to amputated by the vet when she was six months old (that cat, not the vet...), we don't know what happened, but we think she was hit by a car. That cat is THE FASTEST thing I have ever seen - and one hell of a mouser! I actually think she is more nimble with three legs, you should see the speed she can climb a tree!! She is a very sly and suspicious cat, if she even suspects that she is about to go to the vet, there is no chance of catching her. One glimpse of anything that looks like a cat carrier, and that is the last you see of her for the day. SS

My dog Bo knows we are leaving the house simply because we are putting our shoes on. He can also tell that we are leaving when there are suitcases scattered all around the floor. He loves car rides and usually begs to come with us.
Once we make it to our destination, Bo actually recognizes several familiar locations. One of them is the vet, which he responds to by panicing giving us a "You lied to me!" expression.

Here is a picture of one of our five Mini Dachshunds. This is Rosie, a Red Piebald. She is showing off her Double Ear Flip fashion statement. Rosie is the youngest of our pack of hounds, at 4 months of age. She is quite a character! We also have cats, goats, horses, chickens, and two types of caged birds..... I blame it all on the 4-H club! (A club that teaches kids how to raise and show various animals, as well as do other non-animal projects like woodworking and cooking.)

No pics just yet, but I have 4 beasties - one dog & three cats.
My dog Jack now 7.3yrs old, is part staffie, part blue heeler, part Australian shepherd & part who-knows-what how many times! he looks like an extra-large (35kg) staffie, with nice long, straight legs, is gold & white with some heeler blue brindle. he was a rescue pup.
The cats are, in order of age, Spud, 16.5yrs, Pug, 3.4yrs & Humbug, 1.8yrs. All pretty much your standard moggies, & were all rescue kittens in one way or another. Spuddie is basic B&W, Pug is a very pretty soft ginger & cream & Humbug is a silver & pewter part-Birman tabby who is really quite beautiful. As Humbug's mother was a feral, someone's Birman was obviously out on the town! Spud was a good 10kg before he got sick (kidney failure, alas - he won't be with me much longer), Pug is quite a compact, cobby type & Humbug is looking to be a giant, feral Birman - he has the Siamese physique with the feral size.
Three nice, warm, purring hot-water bottles!!
