I think I should also mention I had a dream about this game, only Bailey was a woman...

I assure you, that incident in Singapore was all a misunderstanding.

I like the idea of a flying house with a cellar under it. Roll Eyes

Sorry, but it's not. That's from Alchemy Gothic's Steampunk line, and the "mechanics" of it are completely decorative- it's just a standard quartz movement. Looks awesome, but the whole solar turbine bit is just a clever backstory. Looks like the "Treehugger" site that story came from didn't look deep enough, and Dvice didn't double check.

This Alchemy retailer on eBay has more pics, and the disclaimer the news sites missed. As I said, it looks great. Too bad that's as far as it goes.

There is a reason for this. And trust me, when a bunch of harry potter geeks think your fucking retarded, you know there is something wrong.

I'm suddenly reminded of the Laughing Man arc from Ghost in the Shell. (Almost) everyone had cyberneural implants, and LM was able to become "invisible" by cracking everyone's implants and simply editing himself out of their perceptions. Shocked

Personally I was reminded of the new Deus Ex:HR. I can't wait to see these actually enter a consumer market. So much fun to be had.
