Hello all you fabulous people out there! Are any of you from the Victoria area in BC? I wanted to put some feelers out for any social groups/events or public events that anyone might know of. I want to get more involved with Steampunk since I'm newly relocated, but I'm not terribly familiar with the city yet. Help?

Cheers!

You just missed: http://victoriasteamexpo.blogspot.com/  and  http://www.thecastle.ca/blog/events-programs/victoria-steam-exposition/  but these links should give you some clues to help find local SP.

I'm in Vic. I think there is a pretty big Facebook group that does regular meet ups and are involved in the organization of the Victoria Steampunk Expo (it's been held at the Empress Hotel as well as Craigdarroch Castle in the past years). I don't really have a schedule that allows actual face to face socializing but I have been told that if you hang out at the Bard and Banker Pub on Government Street you will see a meet up sooner or later.
