Hey everyone,
I've just got back from germany and this years Fedcon and they had a brilliant exhibition there by Greg Broadmore and his creation, Dr Grordbort. Has anyone else heard of him or his work? It's not Steampunk but more 1930's colonial ray-gun...er...punk  Tongue

If you type 'Dr Grordbort' into the search facility a whole glut of related threads will come up.

Not at all, I am sure we would all like to see their latest efforts. I think the Captain was answering the "has anybody heard of him" bit - we mostly have and would like to see more please, thank you for the offer!

It was the first time I had seen his stuff and I was amazed at the level of work that has gone into his work. Lovely guy too, was nice enough to sign a copy of his book for me.

That rifle is not a million miles removed from Herr Doktor's 'Thunderbuss'. I'd be interested to know as to who  came up with the design first?

Couldn't possibly say with any certainty, the only piece of information I could offer is that the book it features in was 2009, both are fine pieces of work, something I would love to own myself.

Herr Doktör was actually the one who copied it from Dr Grordbort.

"Inspired" more than copied, and Mr Broadmore has been kind enough to express his appreciation of my work, as I have of his.

Indeed, besides which, from what I can gather they were fairly inspired too.
