West End Heritage day is on again this Sunday 20th May, in the West End Park, Townsville. (Just in front of the old West End Cemetary...)
All activities are free.
I think there may be shuttles to the Castling Street heritage centre, like last year. There are guided walks and a ride in the derelict Chevy around the cemetary.
If I am there it will not be for long, as I will have to hurry home before lunch as I am GM'ing for Deadlands Reloaded.

I didn't stay long this year, not even as long as I expected. Some displays shifted about, ran into someone I knew. Almost nothing steamy there, except the reenactors conducting the graveyard tours in costume, and this gas engine shown by the machinery preservation society (second pic is a video):



Their showing, of course, was full of sound and smell...
