hey ho, just prevaricating a while before I finish packing for Steampunks in Springtime down near St Austell. Are any other BG members going?
It promises to be a good weekend to get myself ready for Waltz on the Wye the weekend after.

no, two of the 'volunteers' were wearing small plastic animal masks while the Prof. performed (you can't see the other mask-wearer for some reason: I had had several sherberts by that time and the photography may have suffered)

The white steamer? It had a very clear personality and did pretty much what it wanted: it wouldn't go far from it's chosen spot, and happily chuffed back. It also marked it's territory with a dribble of heavy, warmed engine oil.
