Well, I'm a very weird person (or, so I hear  Roll Eyes) but I have met quite a few people even stranger than me!

When I used to work in the city, some of the more colourful inhabitants would sometimes greet me as I went past, even if I'd never seen them before. They didn't do that with other random strangers walking past, but my wife used to say they recognised a kindred spirit.  Grin


Hahaha! Oh no, let's just start a club!

And what's this with ticket inspectors gone mad with power? Where might one apply for this job?

This thread has reminded me of the afternoon when I was sitting  contemplatively in the hall of the art school wondering why the piano was there  when a gentleman in a camel-hair coat stepped in from the street, seated himself  at the piano and played a couple of Chopin études then got up and left.

It turned out later that there was a disappointingly mundane explanation, as also happened later in the curious case of the park benches.
