Okay, I get to choose the winner for WEEK SIX..... My, my, my, I'm spoilt for choice. But there is one (or two?) clear winner.... I just can't decide which of the two are worse. Joint winners for week six were posted by the same person Mr Crow, those.... things.... you found..... have scarred me for life.

Persons intending to travel by open carriage should select a seat with their backs to the engine, by which means they will avoid the ashes emitted therefrom, that in travelling generally, but particularly through the tunnels, prove a great annoyance; the carriage farthest from the engine will in consequence be found the most desirable.

Perhaps the people selling this ghastly, brightly coloured tat are aware that we are selecting non steampunk but labelled as steampunk stuff and re-posting it so are deliberately labelling this crap as 'steampunk' so that we will re-post and maybe get it seen by a wider audience. Even though the audience it's being shown to wouldn't touch it with a brass and leather steam powered barge pole?

The Auction does state - "PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE***"Perhaps you should write and ask. And while you are at it, you can ask. "what the * does this have to do with steampunk?" There are a couple of items in josecou's post that have nothing to do with Steampunk, but could easily be defined as "Punk". Perhaps there is a widespread misconception that Steampunk is in fact a modern reincarnation of 70's punk.
