People seemed to like the monorail stuff, which reminded me to post something else that might be of interest; I've recently got hold of the original magazine publication of Kipling's "With The Night Mail," (1905) which has prompted me to update the version I have on line.

One of the pages for my RPG:
has links to With the Night Mail and the colour illustrations used when it was published as a chapbook in 1911

The illustrations from the magazine version are in my livejournal:

Sooner or later I'll get it all on line together.

Anyone who hasn't already read it should be prepared to be amazed - it's an astonishing tour-de-force, one of the best exercises of sustained inventiveness of early SF.
