Hi All,
Just finished making this little ray gun.I used a dollar store toy gun for the grip and breach.A plastic fishing float for the spherical "fuel tank".The upper bracket holding it is made from styrene sheet and strip that was embellished with pieces cut from an embossed wedding invitation card. The fins are styrene sheet and tube.Pressure gauge made from plastic tube from a toy with a lens from those craft googely eyes. The ray emitter on the front is a foot from an alarm clock.I had a lot of fun building this and will try another in the near future.
Thank for looking. Grin
Cheers.

Excellent!

I would have had no idea that it's made of plastic if you hadn't said as much.

ooohhh very nice!

I hope you don`t mind if I save some of these pictures for reference? I am sort-of in the process of making my own ray gun, and I`m creating a folder with pictures of other ones for inspiration.

Wow!  Fantastic job.  You've done amazing things with simple materials.   I'd be interested to hear more about how you did the embellishments.  Embossed wedding cards are in my price range!  Grin
