Each piece was pyrographically etched using ivory from the deadly and carnivorous Faux.  That's right, 100% authentic Faux Ivory.

Heh Faux Ivory. I will have to remember that one.

So how big are the tusks on a Faux?

Bigger than a breadbox, but smaller than a really big breadbox.

Also, great job!
Very clever entry!
I would never have thought of making chips for an airship casino; though I would definitely patronize one!

Rev. Jade, all are welcome!

Unfortunately I can not account for the size of the dangerous Faux, but the sharply dressed gentleman with the gold tooth that sold them to me assures me that they are enormous.

Hey, we still have 4 days. April 30th. OK, closer to 3 days at this point, but still. We have some days left!

Alright, at the wire!

Ladies, Gentlemen and Scallywags,

May I present to you:

Dr. Edward Matthews' Petite Pocket Pinhole Camera. Perfect for Picnics, Parades, Parties and Portraits.

It has not yet been calibrated, due to the fact that I need to find or make some film small enough to fit inside it. But I shall post the photographs on this very forum once they are made!

Aether Academy Labs: Mad Science For the Masses

« Reply #131 on: April 30, 2012, 05:58:13 pm »

Here is my small submission to this challenge.

Brought to you from the Depths of Aether Academy Labs;
May I present to you a Must have for the Gentleman about Town, Professor Masters surefire sleeve sealers. That's right these are no ordinary cuff-links! Professor Masters surefire sleeve sealers are made up of many small removable gears and sprockets so if you find yourself in the company of a charming young lady and the temporal drive-shaft on your time carriage breaks down (as they are known to do) you can simply undo your Professor Masters surefire sleeve sealers, roll up those sleeves and repair your time carriage in no time flat*.

*Repair time will vary dependent upon skill of repairer and the nature of the time zone you are currently in.

Here is a last minute entry.  A steam powered, pocket ray gun.  Solid brass with a little copper and steel.  All welded construction.

Update to all the fine Ladies and Gentlemen here on the forums.

As you may recall my Lady was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Well we've successfully come through the surgery (a lumpectomy) and they got all the cancer. The Sentinel Lymph node was cancer free, a VERY good sign and all the lab tests are giving us solid indications that she will not have to endure Chemotherapy. So she has a month to heal, a short stint of radiation therapy and then some hormone therapy for the next five years. It is like a tremendous weight has been lifted from our shoulders!! WOOOHoooo!!!

I want to thank all you gentle persons for your kind words, good thoughts and welcome prayers. You have my heartfelt thanks and appreciation.

Dr Ironbeard, most hearty congratulations to your wife. She's escaped the Mastectomy/Reconstruction my other half went through.
The Radiation therapy has it's downside (Like Sunburn discomfort) and if its the same where you are she'll get some tiny tattoos for the aiming marks.
I'll give you some advice I wish I'd been given before the hormone therapy, it can be like Menopause in some women so learn to deal with the side effects. Sometimes a good walk around the block (for you) is the best coping methodology.
Again I'm really pleased for the good news for you both.
