Why not? It's a gun ain't it? I'm sure they would appreciate a shrunken shrink ray (I know I did)!

Is it to late to say that I'm participating?

I've got a few ideas...

If its not to late to enter may i present...the Slip Gun!

very simply its a gentleman's last resort/bestfriend

working still with blackpowder the slip gun is a two shot pistol to be used in emergencies. not relying on a hammer the user simply presses the plunger on top which strikes the flints on the inside of the gun, which ignites the powder and fires the projectiles.

now i know what many people will say about this, that it is too simple looking but i maintain simply that theres an elegance in simplicity and that lets be realistic...this is designed to be unseen

You're on time Wolf, the contest runs until the 30th.

It's kind neat to see your two diffrent approaches to the same concept. Wolf's looks more dangerous, but and_solo_said's looks more likely to be accurate.

Thanks!

Unfortunately not: I was intending to take some but got carried away with construction. I have plans to make a second, boxed version for a femme fatale friend though, so I'll try to get pictures of that.

Incidentally, Wolf, someone on deviantart compared my gun to the WWII OSS glove gun (which is fired by punching your opponent), but I think its much more akin to your weapon.

For my contest entry I have chosen a USB drive, a brand new model called the Steampunk Diver. The drive holds 16Gb, and the diver's helmet lights up when the drive is in use.

A fabulous series of entries.  I would like to submit the following.

Gaming chips from the Airship Casino christened the Silver Lining.  Each piece was pyrographically etched using ivory from the deadly and carnivorous Faux.  That's right, 100% authentic Faux Ivory.  The reverse of each chip carries the image of the beautiful cruising vessel, the latest in modern airship style and luxury from the fine people at the Pb Balloon Co.

And now the silly and boring reality.  Some very handy wooden nickels from the hobby shop painted and etched with the trusty wood burner.

Thank you all for your time.

So how big are the tusks on a Faux?

 Nice job!
