In preparation for a Steampunk LARP next year I've started collecting together various bits and pieces to make bizarre contraptions.
To update other people involved in the game I've started a journal with a few pictures and background fluff. Hopefully it'll prove an interesting distraction.

So far I've picked up a couple of items I'm unsure exactly what to do with, I'm also likely to pick up several more items that fall into this category. If anyone can make suggestions of what I can use my bitz for or suggestions of items the distinguishing Steampulp adventurer cannot be seen without (so I can go looking for more bitz), I'd really appreciate the input.

Things so far can be located here http://steamtech.livejournal.com/

Love the "Steam" spitting out of that thing! Just the stuff I´d love seeing down the machineroom ... Cheesy
But honestly, whats not more steampunky in a machineroom (exect clockworks offcourse) than steam running ammock roaring out from pipes?

The items and their back-stories are utterly fantastic!  I liked the story for the speaker box a lot--short, but charming and quite well written.

Thanks, I often kid myself I might one day be able to write something (that isn't a scientific paper or RPG rulebook) that people will enjoy reading.
