It was a really nice event , lots to see and do as well as some really good cake. It was a shame the 3rd could not display their tents as planned but our 'engine shed 3' was busy and the programme items well attended.

Thank you to all who came and supported this event, to which we hope to be invited to again next year.

Hello to all the steampunks I met for the first time ,as well.

Agreed.  It was lovely to meet up with people that I had only met on here previously.  *waves*

I did ask a chap with a camera to take a few snaps so I would have one to put on here - but they came out decidedly fuzzy.  So there is nothing as yet available to become my avatar.

Ooo, thanks for that.  It does not look as wet and windy in your photographs as it was at the time.

Thank you all  Smiley This was my first proper event photography job, normally I just take photos for fun.

And Evelyn, here's one without biscuits:

Can anyone furnish me (via PM) an email address for the lady who dresses as Queen Victoria? I promised her copies of photos and although I was sure I'd taken her address down correctly the email I sent has come back undeliverable..so I clearly made a mistake. I don't want to let her down..I mean..she Queen Victoria, after all!

Captain, Her Majesty can be contacted via Arkwright.

I'd give you her e-mail address, but it's not something I do without permission.

Hi DelCano, I've been inside the tardis box at the Avoncroft Museum, Birmingham.  Amazingly enough it does seem bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside.  and they have a kettle for making cups of tea!!
