Well, seeing as "Tesla & Twain" is not a weapons manufacture company, I can tell you what didn't happen.  Smiley

Wow, it would have been interesting to see what would have happened. As I was reading that I couldn't help visualise the Tesla weapons from Red Alert (Tesla Coils, Tanks and Troopers).

I wonder when this was written. Twain went nearly bankrupt in the 1890s (I think), and had the pluck to actually raise enough money to pay his investors back (he was backing a printing machine that reputedly had over 100,000 parts in it). He took a trip around the world to find material to write a book on the subject.

Then again, Twain was of a progressive bent. It's also possible that Tesla thought he was being punk'd...Wink

The two had a decent friendship, so he either took Sam at his word OR new that Sam was attempting to punk the world and history.

Co-incidentally, I was at work on Friday and found a graphic novel (I assume it was a graphic novel) of Tesla and Twain being a sort of crime-fighting, world-peace bringing tag team duo:

Persons intending to travel by open carriage should select a seat with their backs to the engine, by which means they will avoid the ashes emitted therefrom, that in travelling generally, but particularly through the tunnels, prove a great annoyance; the carriage farthest from the engine will in consequence be found the most desirable.
