Hobbies and Pastimes Steam Day

Sunday 15th April 2012. 1pm- 5pm

Admission;
Family £8, Children/Conc. £2.50, Adults £3.50
( Small charge for train rides)

" Everyone has a hobby and we all like to play so this steam day is a chance to celebrate as many hobbies and pastimes as we can squeeze onto the site. Community groups, specialist sport and dance groups, stamp collectors, Meccano enthusiasts, lace makers and many many more will be invited on site to share their hobbies with you and maybe to introduce you to a new passion. Our passion, the museum’s collection of classic vehicles and our ever-popular railway will also be on show and of course it will be the first time this year that the mighty beam engines will be in steam. Refreshments, including the best homemade cakes in Leicester will be served in the LMTA café so bring all the family along for a fabulous fun day out. "
