A limerick that rhymes with orange
The flower of fern is a SPORANGE
This is at least the fourth time (one, two, three, perhaps more)
Someone's plumped for this rhyme
So perhaps we should send it to Blorenge

Seriously, what's the point? I think we must have used just about every rhyme and half-rhyme for 'orange' by now. Hardly original, what?  Sad

Sorry, seemed like a good idea at a godawful hour of the morning during caffeine withdrawals. Won't happen again.

(Gosh, I really m stretching the boundaries of what is possible in a limerick today. Apologies to purists.)

While occupying a stool in a pub,
the dung-beetle implanted a grub
In the spider's cocktail
But blamed it on the snail.
Yet it did cause the spider to flail
...and lash out with all eight of her limbs
She called for an unsullied Pimm's
Which arrived in a bucket
Said the spider, "aye yon, there's the rub"!
