I am new to the forum and thought I would like to contribute a little bit of something to the threads.  I have been playing table top RPG's for nearly twelve years now, and I thought it would be interesting to see if any other gamers were out there and wished to discuss some of their favorite in game moments, or characters.

One of mine would have to be a character I played in a western/steampunk setting named Hank Wilkinson.  He moved out west after his brother died to take ownership of his brother's holdings.  He was a complete greenhorn and unbeknown to Hank, his brother Carl had been a really bad man.  There were more than a few sessions where I heard "Hank Wilkinson... Brother of Carl Wilkinson?" which preceded me being shot.

In a classic situation joined an RPG group and took over a former Cleric NPC supporting a group of adventurers.
Said Adventurers had the good fortune to go Mano E Mano with a vampire and destroy it but not before the main group leader was bitten.
Several days travel to get to the nearest temple of Healing and the party is getting weaker and smaller with the Cleric sleeping at night to recover. Yes the DM was being a git and allowing the bitten character to transform and drain people at night. Cleric didn't make it either.
