Just put acorn nuts on the exposed threads. Should be available at any hardward store.

This is yet another beautiful reason why it is so dangerous for me to check the Tactile threads. So many wonderful projects that I want to try and build for myself, yet so little time to work on the ones I already have started. Wonderful work though.

Thank you for all the nice replies. Just put acorn nuts on the exposed threads. Should be available at any hardward store.
I'm going to let my wife and mother give the arm rests a try. If it doesn't work out, I'm going for acorn nuts.

It's rainy right now, when the weather is better I'll take a picture with the top up. Meanwhile, I've drew a sign at the back. (bear and mr. Ed are Amber's favorite cuddly. Mr. Ed is a horse, Bear is...)

Here's a thought (if no one has said it yet... i don't have the attention span to read every comment) try putting one of those pull up covers you see on rickshaws and pontoon boats. i'm not sure what they're called. just thought i'd give m two sense.

The weather was perfect yesterday evening. So we took the trailer for a spin, with the top up. Is this the kind of cover you are talking about, lou9x9?
