As title really: Is it possible to get rid of a thread listed in "Show new replies to your posts."?

I've read the FAQs and searched but my search terms are probably wrong...

I'd like to know too. There's threads that I've posted in just the once but don't follow that have continued for eons...well months at least...but I still get notification every time a new post is made. It's clutter basically.

A click on "Mark all messages as read" should do the trick, at least it did for me.

This gets asked enough that I've created an answer in the Frequently Posed Queries area.

Short answer: nope, sorry. Sad

Well, thank you, sir, for a definitive answer. I'm sure you have far more pressing duties at the Babbage card-punching table than to address such a minor issue.
