Either with a band or solo....many times.
The next poster has never been on stage, let alone in the front of a crowd of 15 or more. (with that said crowd paying attention to just them)

I thought I was being taught the piano...turns out it was a typewriter class.

No, but I do use my typewriter to write letters from time to time.

Yes, a little portable I bought for $49.95 from Woolworths in 1975 that I still have. I typed a lot of essays on that thing, & used buckets of tipp-ex. I used to hate having to do all my essays with footnotes, as I never knew how many were going to be needed per page. Now I type them straight on to the computer & the formatting does it for me - one aspect of technology I just love!!
The next poster doesn't know what a typewriter is!

I learned to type on a typewriter, we also had the old school candlestick phones when I was growing up, my mum liked them.

I do not own a candlestick phone, although it is on my list of things I would like to own. My current phone is a wall-mounted rotary. I also own a typewriter, although unfortunately it is not in working condition. It's an Underwood, and it is probably about three-quarters of a century old. Most of what I own is from the first half of the 20th century.
The next poster also collects things from long before his time.

Hmm. "Long before" is vague. Most of the music I listen to is from a decade or two before my time, but I also grew up in a house full of antiques that are probably closer to being long before my time.
The next poster grew up with nothing in their house older than their parents.

How far is all the way, and then if it stops, what's stopping it, and what's behind what's stopping it? So, what's the end, you know, is my question to you."

We used to growing up, hell we had a wild pumpkin patch in my backyard growing up. Now I live in Southern California, the only thing that's wild out here is the old west, and even that was domesticated for tourists.
