At the end of the martian war, around the year 1857, the british imperium became ever more steadfast and stubborn in its rejection of all offworld activity. So many lives had been lost on the lunar observatories, that it was considered just to remove every trace of martian technology from society. Of course this was an arrogant and ridiculous move to make, leaving the black market - and thus the lower classes in possession of particle beam, bio aetheric, ambient aetheric and thaumaturge enabled weaponry whilst resources werereplaced in the royal artillary by the trappings of the pre earth/martian alliance. civil war would soon break out, dealing a blow against the imperium. but for now, industry moved on, begrudgingly removing all trace of the red race, and reverting to simpler albeit reliable technology. The Hyperbolic subatomic ocular goggle aparatus was the first replacement to the inquistor line. Its brass filigrees and attention to detail feebly masked the loss of aetheric technology, but was accepted by the scientific community, whether they agreed with abandoning the scientific might of the martians. This temporary dark age lifted five years later, with a fragile treaty set in stone at the foot of mount Nereidum Montes, on Mars. pictures are crap..the one with border is for ebay. the armatuer on this was fun, its moves in many different directions. The filigrees also look crappy in these photos but i spent ages trying to make them look good, and old.. so hopefully in person, i feel ive done that. the lenses are heavy duty..the microscopic effect is pretty string, so as props these are great, but wouldnt suggest wearing over your eyes unless you have terrible eyesight or want a massive headache! will be on ebay soon x

My goodness--do you ever sleep?!?! Haha, top-drawer work Haha that was my first thought too. the next one was "Where does he FIND all this cool crap?" Great work as always, Alex. so..where DO you find all your cool crap? Just hours of ebay scrounging, or do you have some magical, ever-replenishing antique store near you that sells inexpensive odds-and-ends? -~D~-

Dear Alexcf,
Wonderful object & the photography is nicely composed. I don't know why you would think it was "crap".

You mean me? I was just referring to all of the cool findings and baubles and components Alex seems to have in endless supply. I didn't mean it "is crap". That's just what we abrasive, uncouth Americans call any large assortment of items. "Wow, look at all that crap!" "where'd you get all this crap?" "that's a crap-load of baubles!" -~D~-

The details on the armature and its base are simply exquisite. Had I top dollar, I would pay it for that magnificent piece.

I just looked at this latest stunner and thought, "that looks familier"... I went back to my bench and realised I'm cleaning up an example of the device that supplied the croc clip and joints... Don't come haunting my suppliers in Bognor without a BIG ray gun boy...
